cmouli 0 Posted September 22, 2013 Mountains at high altitude create their own local weather as clouds can come fast no where and obscure views. I experienced this in Chamonix viewing the Alps towards Mt. Blanc. Dense fog and clouds completely blocked the view. When heavy winds accompanied as well, I knew that I will get interesting opportunities. Peaks appeared and disappeared before me in an interesting visual symphony. This was one such view.
