Models in Transit

In the process of a house move, I had to devise a way to transport

some very delicate plastic models without breaking them, and ended up

suspending them with cotton thread inside a semi-translucent packing

container. With bright sunlight streaming down from a nearby window,

I think you will agree that the result is an interesting image... The

models are a Chinook helicopter bereft of its rotator blades, and a

Ferrari Formula One car circa 2009.

I very much agree. This is an interesting image. I like the strange biodome effect of a world trapped inside a restricted space. It's an idea that has huge potential of further development.

The concept of making a world that looks like the real world OR making the real world look constructed are extremely appealing to me.
