Hello Pierre:

Long time since you have delighted us with your unique style! Wonderful image, simple and elegant, superb effect, converting a relatively simple subject into something complex and enriched. Congratulations.

Pierre, I can identify whether I could repeat some of the abstract images I do that have a  heavy dose of PS.  Maybe it is better that way so it becomes unique and maybe it will be worth 100,000$ now and a million or two or three when you are looking in from another 'dimension' like so many of the great artists.

In summary, I like what you have done here - a winner in my books.

Daniel, your comments makes me proud of this picture, but it maybe implicates  that I haven't exposed a delightful image very long time now, ha! Thank you for both, although I would have liked some of your constrictive critiques on those who you didn't consider so delightful!

Tony, what a relief! Who cares that I haven't sold one picture for one dollar when I will soon have $100.000 for only one, ha! I'm kidding! Thank you for your very witty critique!

Alas, now I discovered that this picture was already in my portfolio! Now I will have to delete it, but in respect to the commentators I will paste here their comments:

PIERRE

Love this image, the light and shadows and the grainy feel in it. Well done I wonder why so few comments though.  Oh, thank you for your recent comment on my sunset and the wind image.  I agree with your comment about the shift to the right.  If I remember right though the were most  likely some beach debris in that area that I had to exclude.  Great thought though I apreciate your attention to that detail. I enjoy your work a lot. rek.

Una volta ho espresso la mia opinione sull'opportunità di cogliere la versatilità del mezzo espressivo offerto dalla tecnica digitale. Quello che fai tu in molte riuscite occasioni!  Sono stato ovviamente redarguito dai "probi viri"!

Sorry for writing in italian but in this case it's easier! It's one more excellent work! Ciao!

well caught difference between the height of old and new and not so much in the facade - unfortunately old buildings are endangered exactly because of this, as rent from low ones is lower

Hi Pierre,

This is an outstanding work of Art my friend.

The coarse details produce an ornate image which is most pleasing to the eye.

Our mind works to construct this image further, a good lesson on perception.

best Regards, Uncle Mike

Caro Pierre, questa volta ci hai fatto attendere un po' troppo per una tua nuova composizione ma ne è valsa la pena! Bellissima questa tua visione, come al solito onirica, di un angolo di città! Ciao, amico mio!

The noise makes it. This work reminded me of an old strip artist who used this technique. Very effective composition and great mood. Bravo, Petre!

Yet another memorable image.

I respect that your images are so creative and yet not bound to representative realism. Such an image allows a nice play of fantasy although staying true to its photographic origins. :)

I like how is composed and two elements new-old side by side, also with different light on it but most of all is this grain that makes the mood for this, indeed as others said above. The colors too works excellent for this.Compliments for your creative work as always.

Hi, Panayotis!  I like your neat remark, the new always devours the old, it's a sad true, but can't devour from my memories! Thank you for your visit and insightful comment, my friend!
