"Old" and "new" are complimentary terms.  Indeed, these structures beautifully compliment each other as well.  The tonality is magnificent.

By the way, when did you become a pointillistic artist?

My best always,

michael

Ha, ha! This as a matter of fact isn't pointillist work cause the colors are made with different colored points in pointillism and these points are all black! This is quasi pointillism, my friend! Thank you for your positive critique!

Hello Pierre, After reading many of the comments posted, I came away agreeing with Rajats' comments, the wires being the lines of communication between old and new. Excellent work my friend. Always unique and always very artistic. Take care.

Holger, thank you your critique! To tell you the truth these wires together with the pole were impossible to erase, how many wires I removed I don't even know!

Indeed, an original approach that gives new life and meaning to your image, bravo. It was quite possibly built by an older newly rich Pierre as they existed in those times too, they simply gain acceptance and a short memory with time.

John, I'm certainly not a new rich-men or whatever kind of rich men, I'm poor as a church mouse! And in my country new rich men are of a very dirty sort, but of course you didn't know that, so I'm not offended, on the contrary, flattered with your very good critique! Thank you, my friend!

Haha, most certainly I didn't mean you Pierre .. only the fact that they are like weeds, new ones appear with every planting of a new garden, or call it every new regime ..  : -)
