Welcome, Tony! I don't think you are making fun, on the contrary, you are trying to give a rational explanation to the absurdity of the situation, you only didn't notice the superiority of the phone or rather what he represents!  He is so huge, why? Because the painter wanted to point to the superiority of what he represents, the incoming domination of the technology which is a threat to all the others on the picture! Al except the sun, the sun god which will triumph in the end, he will triumph if not with anything else, with his death! On this sur real picture is shown the history of the existence at least of the earth!

Thank you for your visit and witty, but very rational  comment, Tony! I like it!

As always, a great image!  But, could we perhaps pool our money to provide that poor rider with a cellphone?  That way he can avoid the lizard ;-)

Why avoiding the lizard, Perez, it's such a cute creature, it's not a crocodile and some call the rider a knight and knights are not exactly poor people, besides, I love old phones and old stuff in general

Thank you for your visit and witty comment my friend!

Hi, Pierre! I enjoy your creation and the creativity it provokes! I think it is just simple: Lizard's biggest dream was to reach the Sun. One day she looked up and saw the Sun sitting on the top of a dry tree stump. That's the Time, she thought and started her trip up. Reaching half way she looked around: oh, it is much more to the desert then just sand! I can see a horse and a phone! I hope I will see a Photoshop if I climb a bit more.... And then she fell and was diagnosed with a heat stroke. This is a story about a big dream and great expectations.... Warm regards and best wishes. Tamara

Welcome, Tamara and thank you for your novel! I can only remark that it's true that too much sun kills geckos! But, I doubt that they ever think of the sun as a subject worthy to reach! They are not romantic as we are!

Another superb one, Pierre! Very vivid imagination. Surrealism at its best! One can describe it in many ways depending on the mood, I guess. Well done, my friend.

Best regards. Ajay.
