matthijs 0 Posted August 26, 2013 I really like the top half. The look, the pose and the tones are great. I'd crop the bottom radically because the leg looks really weird in pose and tone. Hope this helps... Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted August 27, 2013 i think the light is a little too brighht on the left side. Pretty much lost all texture/detail in the sheet, foot and leg. Natural light is a great way to go. More natural then strobes. Link to comment
Elstad 5 Posted August 29, 2013 Me? I love the legs... This is a well rendered and yes, a GREAT take on a classic pose. Different is a Very Good thing. Why should we pander to the lowest common denominator and re-create the same old same old over and over again. Bravo Mr. Teddy Mack... Bravo! Kudos to your model too...-r- Link to comment
John Peri 1,027 Posted August 29, 2013 No reflection on what any others think or say on this page, or on this particular image either in fact, but I do totally agree on the principle evoked here by Raymond. Too many people in my opinion have argued in the past in favour of conformity and inexistent rules, not to mention histogrammes and other such nonsense evoked by some, all of which are totally alien to the process of innovation in art. In its present form (who knows what it would be if it differed), this photo has "impact", it is why we are giving it so much attention and that is what photography is about. Good shot once again Teddy, bravo. Link to comment
