MichaelChang 12 Posted August 23, 2013 Ilia, it's hard to answer your question without a comparison, but to my eye, there isn't a focal point so my eyes are bouncing around looking for one - this might relate to the square crop and might be less so with a wide® view. The post-treatment also seems a little extreme with the tonal range which makes it look a little harsh in sepia tone. Link to comment
stp 6 Posted August 26, 2013 I really like the look of your clouds. I'm thinking I should be able to see more detail on the foreground hills....not sure why I don't see it. Finally, despite the single hill in the immediate foreground, I think a horizontal format might have better represented the features within the frame; that said, the square is not bad.
