Procky's crew cheering their driver on

At a recent ASCAR race (ASA for you US people) a privateer, Mark

Proctor, was up there at the front of the race, trading paint with

championship leader and works driver Ben Collins. When I saw Procky's

crew going bananas in pit lane during the closing laps, I just

couldn't resist shooting them rather than the happenings on track.

 

I took a whole sequence of shots and this is one of my favourites.

What do you reckon? Does this work as a photo?

a case of right place right time? The camera left is distracting and its a shame you've missed the top of the guy's hand. Would be interesting to see the quality of the shots of the race too. Any you can post?
