The main subject seems to be the mountain rather than the glacier cited in the title. The vertically centered location of the mountain makes the composition a bit dull. Also, I wonder if a shift of the viewpoint towards the right and towards a slightly higher position wouldn't have shown more of the ice and of the curves that it forms.

This is a great photo. I like how the curving stream leads you eye to the mountain.

 

You really captured the grandeur of Mt. Cook. I would enjoy seeing some more of your work of NZ. Any shots of Milford Sound or Te Anau ?
