A cleaning boy in the Santiniketan Express Train which runs between

Bolpur (Santiniketan), the place famous for Rabindranath Tagore, and

Howrah (West Bengal, India). It's very common to find such kids

cleaning Train compartments, expecting some money from the travelers.

This little fellow looked so naturally to the lens that I didn't had to think,

wait or ask for the shot.

An exceptional portrait of this little man Somnath. Yes, little man, yet so much a little boy.  I am sure he works very hard. I do not know if it is from working hard, but I can see scars on his arm. His tattered clothes tell a story of their own. His big brown eyes truly are windows into his soul. A very poignant moment captured. I do hope he has time and the 'opportunity' to have 'little boy dreams'.

Thank you so much for sharing this image, it has had a very humbling effect on my heart.

Most sincerely, Gail

Thanks Eduardo for visiting and for your comment. Sure the monochrome version also looks good, but I liked the color more. Thanks again. All the best.
