svend erik poulsen 0 Posted July 20, 2013 Indeed a strange image - if i were to offer any critique it would be that none of the model shots were taken on location (witch by the way is brilliant). Other than that a very surreal image. Link to comment
Rick Bortnick 2,167 Posted July 20, 2013 Christine,Evocative, especially with the title & primary subject matter. The more I look at it the more I'm not sure if I like it. Given the subject, & if I interpret your image correctly, I think that is where you were going. It is a subject most of us shy away from (or are scared of), hence we don't like things associated with it. You are presenting it boldly. You made me stop, look, contemplate (face) and for that I thank you for this image.RickBTW - I have had this open for quite a bit before I hit the proceed button. It really is a powerful image. solamnus 2 Posted July 21, 2013 wow, yes like Rick i am not sure how to think of this photo. But it really touch me and it might be your motive for creating it of course, so in that regard you have really succeeded. If i look at it in a critical way first and analyze it i can say that i really like the setting. It is so fitting. Also the light with the window and the light streaming through almost like a hot furnus in the back oblitirating everything in the room, and also the subject. Very strong message. I like the others hope it all goes well. We or most of us have not been spared by cancer and of course that makes the message and image very very loaded.../Martin. Link to comment
