Where are my parents?

My dog Bailey is constantly looking out the window to see when I

will come home to visit my parents (where she is currently living).

Amazing, the dedication that these animals have towards their owners.

Shadow on dogs back detracts from the beauty of the coat. The view from outside the window may have been equally interesting.

I think that a vertical crop would eliminate a few distractions (the zig-zag pattern on the couch, the blown out light from the right hand window and the shadow on the dogs back).

I agree... shadows on the right are a bit strong. I would keep the composition this way (looks great), but do some touchup on the shadow areas in photoshop. Overall, nice capture.
