louis1 0 Posted August 15, 2003 Move over Clarence White. I Know...I know...he's dead! I wonder if I would have burnt in a small amount at the top left and totally burnt in the textile at the bottom left-it keeps grabbing my eye. Serene image. Louis Link to comment
jon_fernquest 0 Posted August 16, 2003 Love the low key light with so much hidden in the shadows, combined with the close crop they almost seem detached from the rest of the world, floating without orientation all by themselves. Sublime. Link to comment
marcus carlsson 0 Posted November 13, 2003 I belive that this photo will many of us remember in many years. If this photo was hundred year old I belive it would be sold at auctions for many dollars. The low key and the child's expression is just perfect. One can understand that the woman loves and tenderes the kid. Normally you take very nice photos, but I think that this one will live for many years. When I sees this image I can only think of one other that makes the same impression and that is the photo taken by Dorothea Lange http://www.allposters.com/gallery.asp?aid=85097&item=312032 Link to comment
