photocontrast 0 Posted August 15, 2003 It's indeed a very nice shot. The shapes and forms are well framed and the motion (your friend and his skateboard) work well. Link to comment
jeremy_shawley 0 Posted August 15, 2003 I'm not sure how much into skateboard photography you are, but there is a VERY cool web site out there called http://www.skateboardphotography.com . Tons of great info about shooting skating. Nice shot btw. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 15, 2003 This is a cool shot. Nice angle, perfect shutter speed, and good use of the wide angle. One thing I've learned by shooting skating is to give the subject room to move in the shot. If you had maybe another inch or so on the left side of this shot it would be awesome. By giving the space in front of the subject, the viewer is tricked into thinking and imagining him landing. Right now as a viewer I can't see that because he is so close to the edge of the frame, for me it makes me feel like I don't know whats going to happen to him, what he is going to land on, stuff like that. Just a thought if you are going to be shooting anymore skating. Good Luck! T.Page Link to comment

kevin n. 0 Posted October 15, 2003 I tried taken some skateboard pictures of my friend Hanzy using my 16mm fisheye lens. I think this is one was the best. Any comments? Link to comment
