Excellent shot! Where is this?

Where the hell is it?? I think Ive been there but can't tell for sure and its bugging the hell out of me! Oh, very nice shot, BTW!

Yosemite Valley taken near Tiogo Road (120) turn off in the park.

This photo was taken approximatily two weeks ago at Yosemite as the vally floor was smoldering and smoking.

The sunlight through the fog is very nice

I think it's a great pic. It's almost a monochrome photo, not the vibrant colors as you would expect here, but it does not hurt this pic at all. On the contrary !. It's great because of it's simplicity.

This is one of the more stunning photos I've seen. The left hillside is especially dramatic. I like the silhouette and I'm glad you left the space between the trees so we can see the smallest hill. It adds even more depth.
