ceaser 0 Posted August 14, 2003 The fallen satellite dish from an abandonned antenna tower. The station building can be seen in the background. Link to comment
peter_augello 0 Posted August 14, 2003 I don't like the lens flare and lack of contrast. Link to comment
joshua_ward 0 Posted August 15, 2003 What is this picture of? I can't really tell. The photograph is overexposed, jumbled together, and pretty much confusing. There isn't anything about this picture that attracts the eye. There isn't a subject. If you didn't say that it was an antenna tower, i would have thought it was just trees and garbage IMHO. Anyways, I've just started my own account here on P.N. I'm familiar with the site because I've critiqued and fiddled around on a mate's computer. I should be putting up some photographs of mine in the future. Talk to me any time you'd like. Feel free to disregard everything I said. Keep shootin'. Link to comment
ceaser 0 Posted August 15, 2003 The picture is of a fallen satellite dish in the forest. The lack of contrast is actually the point of the picture. It shows (well, attempts atleast) how the dish blends in to the forest after years of it being there. This despite the simple fact that forests and satellite dishes are not at all one in the same. Also, I thought that the glare added a little something interesting to the photo, I guess everyone disagreed. Link to comment
harold_stiver 0 Posted August 16, 2003 I like it. It would have been easy to lose this shot but you held onto it Link to comment
