Hi Ian,

You certainly you have captured a nice mood here in a lovely setting my friend.

Using any good short focal length lens above F/8 will limit its performance to yield sharp details.

I use all my lens at F/5.6 to wide open to maximize the real details seen upon enlargement.

Ian,  You have created a most artistic image.  the composition, simplicity, even color, and panoramic horizontal format work well.  I differ with Mike about the aperture.   For capturing full DOF,  i favor shooting at f16 to f11 or f8 depending on conditions.  a tripod is a give.   nice work here on this terrific image.  Larry
