I think this is a great setting for a young woman with a guitar.  However, I admit I don't understand the tilt of the camera -- I've never understood it on any camera, including my son's.  Maybe it's a generational thing.

Scott,

Pretty girl.

No Stephen, it's not a generation thing, it's a taste thing.

I may come back and make some real comments later. I couldn't pass up a quick agreement with Stephen. I also don't understand why someone would think that tilting your camera would somehow enhance the portrait of a beautiful girl -- or most anything else.

Nice shot (not counting the tilt),

I agree with the previous two posters with regards to the tilt of the image...definitely not to my taste...on the positive side I think the image has many really nice qualities...firstly I really love the tones and textures you've achieved in your post processing...very beautiful, great film feel.  Secondly I like the setting, nice gritty urban vibe.  Third, the lighting and exposure are nice...it appears you popped a strobe from right to left to give her a nice split shadow and another light at left rear for the rim highlights in her hair and on her arm...very nice.  And lastly a lovely model, with what I consider an interesting pose and expression...this could easily be a publicity shot for an aspiring musician....overall nicely captured.

I appreciate the comments....Oddly enough I did the tilt in post and was curious as to what others thought...thanks!  The model is actually a talented musician...we started with a skateboard shoot and then I found out she had a guitar tucked away in her car which was her passion.  So we started thinking of what might make for an interesting album cover...

Great shot.  I agree with all of the previous regarding the tilt.  I also think the background might be a bit distracting, maybe just tracks running off to the distance would put more focus on the model.  Just a thought.  Very nice image.

I made made a few adjustments and hopefully,  will be able to add it to this post.  If not you will see it in my portfolio.  I went with more of a square crop as if it would be used for an album cover and will bring down the background a bit more with the next iteration.  Thanks for the feedback....More thoughts?  //Scott

I was getting ready to agree with everybody regarding the tilt (although I think it bothers me less than others) but eventually came to your most recent edit and that is absolutely splendid and makes me really dislike the tilty version.  Your lighting is creative and it sets her off from the gritty but nicely blurred backdrop.  In your original, I felt a little claustrophobic, her guitar resting so close to the edge of the photo but in this edit there is room.  I cannot muster a single criticism of this update and the square crop will work well for a CD cover or online cover art.
