Would appreciate a constructive critique an any suggestions for improving

It's nice to view, the composition is good. I personally would have giv en more space either above or below the horizon, depending on your focused point of view. if your attention was drawn by the bird, then the upper third part of the sky could have been cut off, Very nice indeed in any case

nice sunset.  The image needs to be sharper.  is it taken with a tripod?   I'd also try to eliminate the platform or what ever the box-like structure is at upper left.  It interferes  with the impact of the sky.    Hope this helps.  Larry

This could be a great photo, but appears soft to my eyes also.  1/2 sec at 70mm is difficult at best to pull off without a tripod.  Add to that moving people and a seagull, kudos for trying!
