I don't pretend to understand how your mind works or try to understand your images.  However, I loved reading the interpretations of what this image means to other viewers.  I can enjoy it on its most basic level......great photography, and an excellent still life.  The reflections and the succulence of the cucumber are integral to its success.  Did you use a black reflective table?  Or what kind of surface was it?  I'd like to have a surface like that to 'play around with'.  :-)

It is only a table in my workroom covered with black plastic, Christal! And how the wall came up to be black...I don't remember! Thank you for your visit and thorough elaboration!

A fair bite of cukum, seems like you do love them and I like them too, I can go tomatoes, but what I do prefer Is a little bit of cucum, cucum, cucum, little bit of cucumber.

Enjoyed. NJ

Thank you Andrzej,

I think I broke the cucumber to fit the room available and for aesthetic reasons!

You don't tell anything about it, alas! Broke it in vain, ha!

Cheers to that!

Hey Pierre, don't make excuses and reasoning for an obvious thing. You just love them as Harry did -
