Pierre Dumas 280 Posted July 3, 2013 Amal, the truth is I don't know how to make a conventional still life and it gives me originality, ha! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted July 3, 2013 Tina, you're always exaggerating with praise and ratings for my pictures and it's a good music to my vain ears, ha! PDE Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 280 Posted July 3, 2013 Thank you Ajay, I don't see what is about the colors to be liked, but when you and others say so... PDE Link to comment

museebfoto 2 Posted July 3, 2013 Agree with you Pierre.. These days, music either very mild like cucumbers or severe to the extent to a garlic taste. Very nice idea and reflection too. Link to comment
tamaramar 0 Posted July 3, 2013 Hi, Pierre! Oh, well! It is still life, but colours and scent make it vibrant :) ! Btw, sometimes I feel as if I am cheating on REAL photography by manipulating in ps....I think it is the stages we are all going through... I love the reflection! Warm regards, Tamara Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted July 3, 2013 Ranga, thank you for the superb thoughts about the apple and the garlic! I hate apples and it seems that's why I have to do business with doctors every now and then! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted July 3, 2013 Museeb, you may be right, but I never thought as you explain when I did this picture! Thanks for your visit and clever translation of the picture! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted July 3, 2013 Tamara, I never felt as I'm cheating and I do the manipulations very long long time now! Thanks for your visit and your thoughts! PDE Link to comment
kazimir 5 Posted July 3, 2013 I contemplate on this picture for a few days, but again and again same thought came to me - Are those things a leftovers from the Recent Wedding Still Life Contest? - if not, you still have the time to contest - he,heAlso, it came to my mind - these things you can't buy anymore (or at least if you don't know somebody) - namely, your cucumber and garlic are obviously homegrown, you ate the cucumber with a skin on it (god forsaken for a cucumber bought at supermaket), your garlic is slightly dried on sun and have a those purplish marks (homegrown!) and in the end - the multiplayer is not produced anymore (at least not in this 80ish design) and you can find it only at some flee market - your picture is about the time that are already pass away or passing by us - this picture to me is like a Proust's Madeline cookie (don't know if pronounced it well). This picture are THE memories....Sve najbolje prijatelju!!! Pierre Dumas 280 Posted July 4, 2013 Unbelievably exact and detailed observation Nebojsa! You reminded me that I uncovered the fact that I live in the eighties, at least with my musical gadgets! About the cucumber and the garlic, they are bought from the market, I don't grow plants at home and maybe I added some more poison to my already very much poisoned organism! Thank you very much! Jack McRitchie 150 Posted July 4, 2013 That's a great juxtaposition of the organic and the technological. The reflections of the vegetables on the shiny surface of the table make it appear that they are floating on a vast ebony lake. This picture lives in a world of its own. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted July 4, 2013 Thank you Jack, your observation suits me for it's purely visual and as well exact and precise! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted July 4, 2013 Thank you for laughing at my art Chuck! Just do it more often, ha! PDE Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 280 Posted July 5, 2013 Hey, Kostaki! I was in your lands last time five years ago and it was gratis for me because I was maintaining the agency's website for free! It was nice and quiet in Pefki on the Island of Evia! Hope better times will come and I'll go again! PDE Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 5, 2013 I really did !Three minutes "reading". Then six, then nine, then twelve.... then I had to pee.As my arithmetic progression had to stop, back again, I was thinking about the Fibonacci series. So, as this could last as long as calculating the exact value of PI ( circumference of a circle, divided by two times the radius, remember I suppose),I started to admire.I still admire.Splendid Pierre !Congrats Dear Friend ! Pierre Dumas 280 Posted July 5, 2013 I understood nothing at all, but I agree with you my learned friend, you are a scholar and must be right! I'm an ignorant who only understood the word "splendid" referring to the quality of this above! Thank you for that, muchas gracias amigo y compadre! Vaya con dios Tu querido amigo y compadre Link to comment

I didn't get you wrong, I didn't get you at all and you are anything but normal and should be proud of that, ha! Link to comment
