Is this a freedom bird?

The subject is interesting, the diagonal composition is nice and the bold crop is effective (maybe a bit too close along the top). From what I can see, there seems to be some focusing issue in the bill and, perhaps, part of the head and of the claws - an ISO 200 film would have helped. Unfortunately, what partly spoils the photo is the background, which is (inevitably) overexposed and interferes with the bird's outline, especially the bill. Provided the focus issues are not serious in the original picture, this would probably be worth some tampering with PS to transfer the bird onto a more uniform and less distracting background (if you have no "ethical" reservations on such manipulations). I am sorry to bring the ratings down a bit with my 5/5, but I feel that they have been a tad too generous so far - the first ratings always tend to be like that.

It looks as though you have re-submitted this photo for critique. Now, I don't remember the first version exactly - if you have modified it before re-submitting, perhaps you might tell us what was changed and what not.
