Thanks for your interest in this one.  The 'scratches' you are seeing are actually rain coming down.  Shutter speed was 1\50 sec, so slow enough to record the rain as streaks.  Best, LM.

Thank you ,and that should tell you that I have never read the image title ,what elude me from guessing that they are rain,is that they are present at only the right side of the image ,I though at first that they are scratchs of a slide, and I have noticed in the details that its a digital canon camera which produce no such lines ,I said better to ask .

thanks again.

Glad you like it.  It is indeed a beautiful area, this particular spot an easily reached 25 km from my home.   I think there is beauty to be found in all areas, arid, tropical, or temperate.  Our job is to find and capture that beauty, then display it.  Best, LM.

I like the freshness and wetness if you want of this wonderful meadow! If there only was one deer or something like that!

Best regards, Len!

A lovely shot indeed. I have no suggestions for improvement and you have already addressed the conversion to BW which I also like.

Thanks for your visit.  Yah, we've just about exhausted ways to improve this one.  I'm still waiting for Pierre's deer to show up.  :-)  Best, LM.
