Hi Alec, realy realy nice color and composition. I wonder how your eyes, brain and sense work together to create such superb picture at very moment when you took this.

The light changes very fast so I got to shoot just as quick at the right moment and try to find the next shot. ISO 400 at F5.6, 1/125

Alec, Soft lighting was your friend here in helping to bring out all the colours as well as other details. A fine grab shot result. Good eye! Best, LM.

Thanks Jayme, Roberto, Len, Cristina. It was a fun shot and I'm lucky to be there at the right moment.

Alec,

Very often in the right place at the right time. A fine catch. Colour / movement and very well framed - well done.

Hi Alec, I've seen a lot of your shots on PN. This is, for me, one of your best executed. The colours are outstanding. I love the order amidst the chaos. One item distracts me though. My eye seems to be drawn out of the picture at the very top center portion of it. I would prefer it more tightly cropped in that area, myself. What do you think??

Best regards.

This is the kind of pageantry I only dreamed to capture in photos of the West Indian Parades in Brooklyn, NY. My highest congratulations! - best, Gary

Gary, Michael, Matty, appreciate your kind comments, the Sony F717 is wonderful for crowded action shots like in this parade. I just love the swivel action of the lenses which makes me 10 feet taller to catch all the action.

Richard Lalonde. It's difficult to crop the top center. Although the opening looks distracting it makes the whole image lifelike as in an outdoor parade. A tight crop will also lose the detail in the surrounding wings

This photo I like! Sorry I don't like all your work but please don't get upset, ratings are not personal!
