cmouli 0 Posted June 27, 2013 I took this shot of American Avocets (also called, "Blue Shanks") in a small marsh land prairie near Boise, Idaho. Each year, they come precisely around the first week of Spring to stop over in this location during their long migratory route from southern Pacific coast of Mexico to the US. Link to comment
