When viewed larger the detail in the white feathers is very good and placed against the dark bg results in an excellent image. Nice POV as well.

The bird's pose is great - nice "capture the moment" image. The tail and wings outstretched are eye catching. The POV is unusual as well. Good use of rule of thirds.

Nice composition and detail. Good placement of the bird in the frame. I also like the way the bird stands out against the water. I wonder about cloning out the oof white spots at the top. I keep looking at them wondering what caused them so to me at least they're a distraction. Just my 2 cents.
