Key West Sunset

This is a pleasant shot. I wish the colors might have been a little more dramatic, and they might possibly have been so a minute or so before this was taken. My admiration of pinks, blues, golds and purples is, however, purely a matter of personal preference.

The horizon seems to be right in the middle. The sky seems to me to be more interesting than the sea, might be better to get more sky, less sea, and move the horizon out of the center.

The right side is nice; the left is too dark. Unfortunately, when you take sunset shots, you're throwing yourself into a rather large pool of other not-so-different shots. Many of which are better. There aren't any wholly exciting parts of the photo; as a whole it's another shot that could have been really cool. I don't mean to sound too harsh; I've never had a sunset shot come out looking this good. But in comparison, it pales, although not by a lot. Regards, MA.
