morey_kitzman 0 Posted August 13, 2003 There's a black bird perched on the high rock to the left. Thanks for comments. Link to comment
norm_goings 0 Posted August 13, 2003 Wow. I love the shades of blue. The colors in general are intense and detailed. Cool picture. Link to comment
nomade 1 Posted August 13, 2003 No criticism here, aesthetically and technically perfect! Good use of the media and available light. Link to comment
carol_watson 0 Posted August 14, 2003 Gorgeous blues contrasting with the warm tones of the limestone(?). Wonderful reflection too! The sky and mountains in blue softens and finishes off this mood beautifully. Link to comment
slide 0 Posted August 14, 2003 Hey Morey, See you've been out my way. Haven't been around photo.net in a while, I'll have to poke around and see what else you got while out in the sierra. I was at south tufa end of May, pulled in to the parking lot around midnight after leaving Ancient Bristlecone Forest after sunset and the birds woke me up at 4am sharp. Sleep deprivation. I'll get around to posting some of those shots someday. -slide Link to comment
michael_wagner2 0 Posted August 14, 2003 Blackbird????? I don't see no stinkin' blackbird!!! This is an absolutely amazing photo, Morey. You were definitely there when the light was perfect! Link to comment
morey_kitzman 0 Posted August 14, 2003 Michael The the bird got lost in the jpeg, sorry. Thanks for your comments. I was fortunate to get this shot, the light broke through as the sun was rising through the band of clouds. Most of the other photographers had left at this point. Peristence pays off.
