koval 0 Posted August 12, 2003 I feel that the red filter helps here. Contrast is ok. Composition is fine for me. I wish it could cary more impact. Still a tech. correct pict. PK Link to comment
boneheadmx 0 Posted August 12, 2003 Not bad. I like the texture of this picture. I think that you could have done more with the wide angle lens, though. Overall, I think it's a great shot, but what was the main subject? The patch of snow? The top of the mountain? The sky? A=6, O=4. Link to comment
brandon hale 0 Posted August 12, 2003 I agree that that the composition is interesting, I think I would have cropped it differently and used more of the sky. The snow is OK but I dont think that it adds to the image. Near the middle of the hill there is a dark area of foliage that I think I would dodge to lighten up a little I might use about a half to a full stop less. The barrel distortion is a little distracting, using a little more of the sky would take care of that also. By the way I like the clouds. Brandon Link to comment
pedja 1 Posted August 13, 2003 Brandon,Thanks for the input. I just want to correct your remark about barrel distortion. There is NO distortion in this picture. The shape of the hill is the same as I saw it. Link to comment
giallauk 0 Posted August 13, 2003 Hello Mr Pedrag. I like this picture. Great tones. I liked composition as well. Snow, hill, sky. 3 point of interest: they drive my eyes across the photo. Very good. Link to comment
bozovic 0 Posted August 13, 2003 Nice photo, overall. I don't know if the slightly tilted mountain bothers me actually ... I think it's fine as is. Not extraordinary original but very aesthetic. I'd hang it on my wall. Greets, Milos Link to comment
