Marijke lighting candle

This was pretty much as I remember seeing the scene: the only real lighting is from a bunch of candles.

Interesting sidenote is that the guards at this cathedral made girls and women with bare shoulders (it was very hot outside) wear disposable green hospital aprons. In Italy the churches are often strict with respect to bare shoulders or shorts on women. In some, you get a silk scarf on loan, but others have simply stopped worrying about such anachronisms.

Comments on the general darkness of the image - would you rate a glossy print of this differently than an image of a PC screen (e.g. due to non-ideal viewing conditions)?

Should I convert this to greyscale (to hide the green - see explanation elsewhere on this page)?
