tm_j 30 Posted June 5, 2013 Well Monsieur Dumas, I don't really get the connection between the tittle and the image. However, I always like your images :-) .. great shadows, colors and intriguing presentation. TFS! Ahh, looking some more I see it now. The competition between the communication methods. :-) Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 278 Posted June 7, 2013 Hey, Panayotis! Why not use a PSD file as much as possible? And there are two reasons why to use it: 1. It was a hell of a job to select such a complex object 2. The exercise with combining all these files is fun and offers possibilities of expression what's in our mind and subconsciousness. Thank you for your visit and comment, my friend! PDE Link to comment
tamaramar 0 Posted June 7, 2013 Wow! Can you imagine it all happened within one man's life (might be a woman's life :) )- from a pigeon to a phone, fax , computer....? Great idea, that makes one slow down for a second and think.... I hope all this development (positive for sure) won't hurt us.... Warm regards, Tamara Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 278 Posted June 7, 2013 Thanks for your visit Tamara, long time no see! Don't we forget that pigeons played an important role in the communications of allied forces in the World War II! PDE Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 278 Posted June 7, 2013 Hey, Hans! The phone should represent the new form of communications! I wish it was the latest for it would have meant a much healthier life for the whole human race! Thanks for your visit and comment! PDE Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 7, 2013 So the little one will pass the hush-hush.Not my genre !Better are Peri's :)) Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 278 Posted June 7, 2013 What's direct? who's the little one? what's hush-hush? Du sprichst codiert, mein sehr geehrte freund!I haven't noticed so far that you share the genre with Peri, amigo! PDE Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 8, 2013 codiert... Ja !Forklaring: pigeons were a task force in the WWII British Army. They received honors. "hush-hush" is a secret (hush ! nobody should hear it...). I always was jealous on Peri for congregating those beauties. Fakta!Unweave the web nire lagun: guztiak egingo distira ... Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 278 Posted June 8, 2013 Ich erwähnte das WWII Sachen oben, nur habe ich gesagt: Alliierte, anstelle von British!I as a matter of fact referred to IAC (Inter-allied comando). But in spite of "inter allied" it was British invention and served British cause! And I don't even know whether they used the poor pigeons and had anything to do with it! Sono povero ignorante!Thank you for your erklarung! Bis bald! PDE Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 8, 2013 "And I don't even know whether they used the poor pigeons and had anything to do with it!"They used them. The pigeons were not poor: happy to get back home. They got awards and there are gossips that a few bought Ferrari, Maclaren, Lotus, Aston Martin and even Pagani ! :) Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 278 Posted June 8, 2013 Ha, ha! They were poor while brought to Belgium and other places and happy to go home, that's for sure!I've never heard of Pagani, by the way! It most likely doesn't exist for my check spelling underlined it! Link to comment
