You really have caught the exact moment to make this an excellent action shot. A very well exposed shot that gives you the feel of the power of the wave. Well seen and executed, best wishes William.

The contrast of the grey and stormy looking sky against the aqua blue sea with the surfer positioned between the two leaves me wondering was this a successful "wave" or a failed attempt...the timing of this shot draws me in.

Carlos,  I was once a member in a camera club that had one ancient bearded member who always found out what was wrong with a picture, but he once was stumped.  He looked and looked and finally said, in disgust, that he could not find anything wrong with it.

Now I find myself old and gray bearded and I want to say, not in disgust, but happiness, that there is nothing wrong with this picture!  It is a wonderful demonstration of the sport, a wonderful feeling of being there in all of that momentous wave and is a tribute to your photographic skill.  I want to add it to my list of favorites.
