I really enjoy the way the sunlight has cast a shadow of the dragonfly upon the leaf. Typically my eyes are drawn to the light but here they are drawn to the darkness. I wonder had I stumbled upon this in my garden would I have noticed the shadow or would I have simply focused on the living creature peering above the foliage? How often do we miss what is right before our eyes?
