Who are you? (Art Director's Cut)

We have two mysteries here one on either side of the window.

The grit, the graphic deconstruction, the colour, the composition, all come together to make this quite compelling.

Right up my alley. Gordon has pretty well stated my own reaction. There is an easy sense of mystery here, nothing forced or artificial. The picture is complete in itself as a satisfying visual statement and yet travels well beyond the objective to a timeless space where the world is changed, a place of wonder and infinite possibility. Here again the vignette effect deepens the atmosphere and knocks the image just slightly out of its comfortable orbit to a more mysterious and unpredictable region.
