At that time, end of November, I had just recently received a Pentax DA

18-55mm ALII, that I bought used and a web site, and I wanted to test it

to see how was the rendition.

As it was the end of year, and the beginning of the festivities in the city

of Paris, I went out to take some pictures bringing with me my tripod,

and I headed to Place de la Concorde and Champs-Elysées.

The big Ferris Wheel was settled, and it was a good subject for taking

pix!

I was astonished by the quality of that lens, included usually in the kit

sold with the camera body!

Lucky I was, also!

The composition is very strong indeed. I like the way you have filled the frame. Fine work.
