Guest Guest Posted June 24, 2013 Marie, but what if you read from foreground to background? :-) Then again, you might read it the way Van Morrison wrote it . . . In any case, I like a visual that shuffles me between foreground and background. And the red light bleeding through the translucent curtain in the further foreground kind of echoes ahead as it were. It's as if a stage is being revealed, a theater of neon, with just a hint of natural light up top and in the fine reflection in the middle-ground glass. Poetic layers of intersecting light. Jeff Lear 0 Posted June 24, 2013 I agree, Cara. Fred summed it up far more eloquently than I could have. The glow of love radiates throughout the frame as it should through life. Nicely done, Drew!!! Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted October 26, 2014 Hi Drew: I hope you are doing well. Always a pleasure to return to your portfolios. I have not had much time as of late, but visiting your images always brings a new perspective, always refreshing new looks. This one caught my eye immediately. Despite its simplicity, it is a very complex image. Not only is it technically very nicely achieved, but there are many implications and its suggestive nature leaves the observer wondering.....That is a great achievement in photography, IMHO.Best regards.DG Link to comment
