Nice photo! Simple background. I would prefer to include more of the tree, which would center the owl more, or leave the stem out as much as possible. Very unfortunate that its head is in the shade, then it would have been a lovely photograph!

Hello Irene! and Thank You for the comments. The Owl was photographed in a dense forest with a limited opportunity for framing the shot with a clear backround.

It would be very difficult to get a photo of an owl in the sun as they normally come out at dusk to hunt.  Nice shot, Juha.
