Thanks, that's the kind of criticism I am looking for.  I removed the Polarazation layer from PS and just went with global changes and it looks much better.

Agree about the sky -- it's much too dark and too processed-looking.  Perhaps you could post the changes you've made on this thread.

The less processed image is the better choice IMHO. Still nice contrast with the vivid greens of the grass but not overly so.
