Dark, moody, kind of threatening and yet the gaze of the lady on the left removes all doubts on threats, this dreamy, inward look. As if we're inside a weird dream....

I find myself nodding in agreement with Wouter's comment above, and may add that the picture seems to reveal a particular facet of their character...

I like the way you composed this too -- the division & separation of light & dark.
