Pietà by Michelangelo

This masterpiece of Renaissance Sculpture by Michelangelo known as

Pietà was exhibited in St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City (Italy).

This famous work of art depicts the body of Jesus on the lap of his

Mother Mary after crucifixion. Taking this shot was challenging

because of inadequate lighting and reflection from its glass

enclosure. 'Pietà by Michelangelo' was captured on my hand-held DSLR

(550 D) through Canon 55-250 mm f/4-5.6 IS telephoto zoom. Comments &
