unique flower and color beautifully rendered.  If this was taken outside, clarity is also exceptional. The bg adds to the mystique.

Such a beautiful composition. I was sure I had commented on it last evening, but I must have had to shut down early. For some reason it reminds me of the days when I wore my hair long and straight to my waist, wore rose coloured glasses and a Peace Sign around my neck. Truly lovely Giuseppe!

Very beautiful image!

Why are you using a polarizer? Is that your trick to get just the right bluish glow?

Bjorn, the polarizer filter enhances all the colors specially the blue of the sky. Here I have switched a little the natural color of the sky for increasing the distance between the blue subject and the background.
Thanks for the comment and the interest about the photo.

I like the very soft forms and colors of the background, and they enhance the relative sharpness of the flower.  The blue on blue works very well -- it's a soft landing spot for the flower.  For me, this is a very gentle expression of nature in the spring.

Do you know what's causing the white outlining along the edge of the flower?

Pretty shot. Though it appears the remains of a selection tool action may have been used to separate the flower from a background at one point?

Fred and Ken, I think there are two reasons, both at the end of the process, after the resizing. One is the final sharpen that has created a white line besides the dark line in the borders, what is normal. But there are also the signs of a selection made for dividing the subject from the blurred background before sharpening. My mistake was to miss a final control before posting. I am sorry.
Thanks for your help.

Beautiful...sharp flower details. If this was mine, I would maybe try different crops, for me there is maybe too much "empty" space on the left side, but those flower colors in the background make some balance anyway.
