Awaited / L'attente

A part of a house recently bought by a friend in a small old village. I

liked the choice of colors of the room, but the incongruousness of the

apparent fireplace was what most struck me.

Not sure how it will turn out (Not so important, as the fun is nonetheless in the process and less in the subjective product), but I am hoping to do more of this type for a project on human traces.

This could easily be mistaken for an Impressionist painting hanging in a gallery in France. It's best viewed as 2-dimensional where the perspective is flat and the shadows are added for effect. Very nice!
