How big is that snail?  It looks huge, but not sure if it's because of a wide angle lens distortion, big snail, or both.  Really, pretty original shot, nevertheless, and I like it.

The snail was about 6 inches long and it was taken with a Nikon 14mm at F22. So as you rightly point out - a big combination for such a shot. I like my 14-24 more and more - how else do you make a snail look dramatic?
