A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CRUSADES - CITADEL

Hansjurgen, this is cool.  It's really different, especially for this site.  I'm not exactly sure what category it might fit in, photography or art, and I'm not sure that matters, it's great.  The division between what appears to be photos and what appears to be drawing is seamless and creates a very powerful image.  I'm not so sure about the color insert. I tried blowing up the image and still can't tell what it is, so I'm not sure what it's supposed to add.  You probably intended it to stand out, but I think the colored border might be too much.  Overall great image.  Thanks for sharing.

As a man form the East ,I can assure you that such a scenario have never happened ,there is no campaign to collect and burn the crosses by the Arabic warriors ,the counter leader of the crusades have released the Cristian prisoners of war ,while the Crusade leader have killed 5000 Arabic POW,

.Arabic and Muslims in general respect the other religions and treat their followers as equals (a part from minority extremists that appear after 9/11 ).

Besides ,my own believe is that the crusades campaigns are targeted Palestine ,and those mosques at the background are of Egyptian type and architecture ,and thus are irrelevant to the crusade campaigns (unless there is other campaigns that targeted Egypt ,which I do not know ).

The image is finely edited and constructed apart from that colored insert ,and really represent an epic battle .

But ,in its meaning I am afraid it is insulting at least my own personal believes and faith about the Cristian religion .

After two hours after I have wrote my comment above ,I felt as if there is something going wrong with it ,I mean I felt like I have wrote a harsh words,or may be too strong for a man whom I do not know ,and I thought too like I have misjudged a man's opinion by seeing only one image of him ,what let me return to this very same place ,is the thought that we people of the East (at least me) most of the times follows our hearts more than our mind,and most of the time we put a judgment on an outfit (at least for me at writing the above comment ). So I have return here and have a look at your portfolio ,and I am astonished by finding that pile of crosses is the common denominator in all the images of the portfolio,and now ,I have to apologized for you about this statement that I have wrote above :(in its meaning I am afraid it is insulting at least my own personal believes and faith about the Cristian religion .) I meant exactly by it ,I would never to dare to burn something pertaining to others faiths under any circumstances .
