The back light enhances the colors and the transparency of the petals.

I am always very glad for opinions and advices. Thanks.

Bg gives a so good scene for this delicate flower,I like this kind of position to be caught that shows all the beauty of rose, sometime petals look like made from wax,I have in my garden few like this,at the beginning of blossom they are completely yellow and day after day the edges become reddish. What I like here too is how fine texture of petals is seen.Is so pleasantly to admire and feel the perfume of this flowers in nature so as they are but you see photo, especially macro, can reveal some details and light never seen else.

good light to you and a very nice weekend

Giuseppe, the backlight is just right, everything looks perfectly natural.  With regard to the composition, I wonder whether more open space at the left would have been better for balance, but that is just a thought, I like it as it is. Best wishes. Peter

Such a lovely image, the lovely shade of yellow with the 'kiss' of 'rouge' on the edges, is so beautiful!!! A most delicate capture that rendered everything you set out to do. Well done!!
