I never dreamed I'd find a location with as many Herons as I have found without visiting Florida! Seems as though the Grand River here in Oklahoma is providing some excellent opportunities! . . . just can't get out enough to take full advantage of it!

The surroundings did not contribute to the overall composition so I

 It's almost frozen in mid air. Lot of details and a nice background.I think it was worth the crop as you got the viewers eye to the subject directly. Nice image Jim.
