Thanks for taking the time to view, comment/critique, rate and, allowing

me the opportunity to share!

I've found an ideal location that affords me the opportunity to shoot

Thunderstorms overlooking the lake to the distant shoreline and Horizon

a little over a mile away. Plus, there is a covered Pavilion that provides

some protection for me, my gear and my car when necessary.

That's a powerful lighting bolt!  I've tried several times to capture lightning, and the results have been pretty dismal.  This is a good effort!  You seem to have the technique down!  Could you enlighten me about how you go about it?  I've read a little, but I'm still stumped.   Your lucky to have a safe place to shoot from.....that helps a lot.

If you've missed the Spring storms then hopefully you will find yourself a "good place" and be ready for the round of Thunderstorms early this Fall!
