Here is mud in your eye!

In case you are wondering, it is a Champagne Cocktail. My own recipe. I

invented it in college when I could only afford the cheapest of brands. I

researched ways to improve the taste. To my surprise expensive brands

of champagne do not work well with the recipe. It almost always brings a

sly smile to the model's face. If she drinks a second - well, expect

anything to happen.

In a muddy world where artists are searching for meaning in the darkness it is refreshing to view an easy-to-enjoy, straight forward story-telling image with good impact.  Two flavors of color harmony are the drink and her hair, the blouse and her lipstick.  Easy, accurate color with good exposure.  I see a tight balance between her face and the drink.  The head tilt adds energy as well as an invite to take a sip of what her fingers are holding.  Good use of space and composition.  The visual elements are not lost in the space or crowded by the frame but feel just right to me.  Good job.

I am fascinated by the colors (hair, eyes, shirt). Only the champaign has a very strange color. I tell this, because I am in my holidays in the country, where champaign comes from...;-) . But you told the story of the self created champagne...funny story. Best regards. hen Ry
