Bird on the Ground

This beautiful bird with its characteristic long coloured beak was

spotted strolling on the grounds of Botanical Garden in Rome, Italy. I

followed its movement to seize this opportunity. I do not know the

name of the bird and would be happy if some experienced

bird-photographer can tell me its name. 'Bird on the Ground' was

captured on my hand-held DSLR (Canon 550 D) through my telephoto zoom

(Canon 70-300 mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM). comments and suggestions are

solicited.
