vlad po... 1 Posted August 6, 2003 Nice scape, but too much foreground, I'd cropped off bottom 2/3 or at least 1/2. Link to comment
geoffrey_swenson 0 Posted August 7, 2003 No I would not, that is why it looks different. Link to comment
andrea_garza 0 Posted August 8, 2003 I agree, you crop it, it becomes ordinary. Nice highlights on the grass would be removed too which is essential to the photo. Link to comment
shore_town 0 Posted November 21, 2003 Great sky, composition and depth of field. Quite enjoyable. Link to comment
jgalyon 0 Posted November 4, 2009 and yet another person who agrees....DON'T crop! the huge expanse of grass in the foreground indeed...gives this picture the perfect depth of field and visual interest that makes it a very compelling piece of art....regards, john Link to comment
johnmyers 5 Posted November 5, 2009 Thank you all so very much (sorry to most of you for responding so late). I am glad so many of you agree with my cropping...it just wouldn't work for me if I had cropped it. As a side note...that grass is incredibly tall. Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted November 5, 2009 John, I have not commented on this photo before but since I became a member here this has been in my faves. I agree with the others, don't crop; this image is perfect as is and very lovely! :) Link to comment
